Nope, couldn’t wait to start a journal about traveling since we bought the new bike today! I don’t have one of my own (YET!) but the boyfriend does now. And oddly enough, it didn’t seem to take him long to decide. I think he had researched for a bit before, of course, but when we walked into the BMW dealership today I certainly didn’t expect us to ride back home! There is history to this.

When the big guy decides that he wants to make a large purchase (and sometimes a small one) it can be 6 months before it actually happens. Like the flat screen TV. He was back and forth about it for 4 months maybe 5 and then the Giants went to the Superbowl. That sealed that deal. He got the TV the Friday before the Superbowl having placed an order for it that Monday. Talk about cutting it close! Had the Giants not gone to the Superbowl, it could easily have been 3 or 4 more months til that decision was made.

I am glad this was not the case with the bike, though. I think we were in the dealership all of 10 minutes. He sat on the bike, looked at the sales guy and said I’ll take it. That was a happy sales guy. It was Memorial Day weekend, there was nobody in the bike area when we got there and he was feeling like it was a wasted day. Glad we could help make his weekend a little bit better!
