  • This podcast episode discusses the “messy and hard and awkward” period that transformation is and how adjusting our expectations will help us be less self-critical and stressed.
  • I read about subway cars being dropped in the Atlantic Ocean to become artificial reefs years ago. I have, from time to time, wondered what happened to them and I finally got my answer.
  • This Buddhist monk explaining mindfulness for times of conflict emphasizes our co-creation in our world today. Some of it is uncomfortable, all of it is true.
  • I recently finished The Four Tendencies by Gretchen Rubin and am loving how it’s helping me think about communicating with family, with clients – with everyone. As an Obliger, it’s helping me think about how I can get more done for myself and further confirms we don’t all think about things the same way.
  • This delicious orange chicken stir-fry recipe. I’m pretty sure this is now part of the permanent rotation.
  • On repeat quite regularly on Spotify, this sleeper hit of an album has scooped up awards left and right despite not having a lot of popular airplay before hand. I just can’t get enough of it. Have a listen below.

There is a beautiful campground in VT - Silverlake There is a beautiful campground in VT - Silverlake State Campground. The campsites are all tucked into the actual shape of the land instead of rows of campsites next to each other.

If you get up early-ish, the fog sits on the lake (second image) and creates some dreamy but sort of eerie images.

Welcome to September! Can you believe this: In t Welcome to September!

Can you believe this: In the year 1752, the British Empire skipped 11 days of September, between the 2nd and 14th. 😄 It was due to changing the calendar to a new system but yeah, who needs those days!

Also, September 17th, 1787 was the day that the US Constitution was adopted. 📜 💜

oops! I art journaled myself into a corner! 😄 A oops! I art journaled myself into a corner! 😄

A little surprise discovered while cleaning - apparently I didn't drink it the night I meant to aaaand it was a little early in the day while cleaning to celebrate!

And the calm of a clean, sunlit studio waiting for the next creation. 😌
