Progressing nicely after unraveling about 6 inches completely because SOMEBODY is just so good at measuring. Actually, the measuring/gauge was fine I just forgot to add an inch to each side for the seams. Silly rabbit. Better noticing at 6 inches than 16. I then had to undo about 2 or 3 inches 2 different times because I botched the double moss stitch border on the left, probably by not paying attention (maybe knitting and season premieres don’t go well together…). After the second time I was very careful, checking the pattern after each turn and so made I to the end of the piece without further issue (or frustration). Phew. One more side to go!
I am happy with the tension, too. When I started knitting a few years ago, I was definitely a tense knitter which makes it harder to knit and sloooows you down. I relaxed and enjoyed it. Goes along with how I’m approaching life currently. Relax. Go with it but GO with it. No sidelines! (Why? Read Tap, Tap on my Web Design blog – if you want – no pressure! :))
I have lofty aspirations of embroidering (I guess it would be called embroidering) a pattern similar to the pattern of the fabric in the stockinette portion of the pillow. We shall see. I think it would be pretty!

If you’ve never knit with Blue Sky Alpacas worsted cotton, I highly recommend. It is soft, knits up very quickly and smooth, too. Would probably make a really nice early fall sweater. Or for layering. Or spring. Hmmm… 😉
