I love poetry, both writing and reading it, so trying out a new way to do it sounded fun. This is Blackout Poetry. I’d been wanting to since I read about it on Austin Kleon’s blog. In fact, he wrote a book about it and also a how-to video plus how he got started doing this type of poetry.
This past weekend, while waiting on another page to dry, this fell into my lap.
I opened another art journal and flipped through the pages and found a background with colors that went with the dancers.
The text was from the article about the dancing.
